In signing below, I agree that Yoga can be a physically strenuous form of exercise, and I voluntarily participate with full knowledge of the risk of personal injury, property, loss or death. I agree that neither I, nor my heirs, assigns or legal representatives will sue or make any other claims, of any kind whatsoever, against Cindy Walker or Mindful Movement partners, staff or agents for any personal injury, harassment, property damage/loss or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise. It is also my understanding of Yoga that is a contact form of exercise. For thousands of years, yoga has been a method of healing where a teacher assists a student in learning via hands on adjustments. Adjustments are part of our teaching style, and as such at times, we will touch your body to help with postural alignment in the yoga poses. We also do limited massage and hands on healing in the gentler forms of yoga. If you would prefer not to be touched, please indicate that preference to your teacher in advance to the class, workshop or retreat.
